"Get up." Baekjin said, even though he could just go to his bedroom and lock himself inside and not have to deal with Seongje anymore. He decided to indulge him. After all, staying at home all day bored him.
Seongje grinned up at him lazily. "No." He made himself more comfortable. Baekjin caught a peek of his collarbone as his hoodie shifted, pale and a tiny mole on the side.
Baekjin exhaled through his nose. "This is my apartment. Act like a guest."
"You can sit on my lap if you want, but I'm not getting up."
"Tempting." Baekjin mustered all sarcasm into the word, taking a seat across him in the armchair.

"Seongje."
"What?" He snapped.
The next words from Baekjin were not kind. Meant to provoke. Meant to make Seongje rip his heart out and present it to him with his bare hands for him to see how fast it was beating. How fragile. How weak. "You're not as invincible as you think you are."
"Fuck you." The response was automatic. It meant nothing, because it was exchanged so many times between them. Held nothing more than the glaringly obvious purpose: admission.
Or, Seongje wants reassurance. Baekjin isn't sure he can keep giving him that.

Baekjin didn’t know what prompted him to look up. Boredom, probably. However, once he did, he couldn’t tear his eyes away. No way this was who he thought it was. The young man who had entered the place was tall, hair on the longer side for a guy, moving in what Baekjin learned to recognise as a signature lazy stroll.
He still didn’t believe his eyes, before the bartender had lifted his gaze and loudly proclaimed, “Well, look what the cat dragged in! Seongje-ya, I thought you forgot your way back.”
