Summary
“Be,” warns Thomas quietly, “very, very careful.”
(a.k.a. Earth 3's Thomas Wayne Jr. "helps" Batman and Robin get back to their world, only for Bruce alone to be sent back, leaving Dick stranded on Earth 3—with Thomas. Who has only a totally normal, healthy level of interest in Dick Grayson.)

SO GOOD. dustorange you have done it again. every work i read is written so beautifully, and your grasp of dick’s character is- it’s just amazing. i love the concept w thomas wayne jr and will always be endlessly surprised that it hasn’t been done more but ur execution of it makes it all okayy
i love this fic the way dick loves bruce: with sheer desperation. it’s devastating and i don’t i’ll ever recover. it’s the way dick misses bruce so much? almost religiously. this work genuinely made me sick to my stomach in the bestest way possible. the ending with bruce is just sO ABSGWJABAOG because that’s HIS BOY. that’s BRUCE’S SON.
“but dick was bruce’s to lose.” PLEASE. please,,
(i’m soo glad my comment got u to finish this absolute gem of a fic i literally think about this fic too often. it rotates in my brain like a rotisserie chicken)
