Summary
The devastated landscape below bore sole witness to his metamorphosis and death. From the little boy lured by Mr. Spider; to an unqualified middle-aged man who somehow found himself as the head archivist of The Magnus Institute; his transformation into The Archivist and finally into a mere tool for The Eye, a narrator of sorts of the suffering he helped bring upon billions.
As his human side slipped away, his last correrent thought was a mere “I’m sorry.”
