Bright.
Bright white, searing light. The kind that makes it feel like your head is being split open.
This is his first and only memory.With little to no memories of his previous life as the great hero of Hyrule and a Calamity already sealed, Link isn’t sure what to do with himself. Ordered by the Princess herself, he sets out on a journey accompanied by an overly pretentious Rito in order to hopefully regain some memories and recover. The Hylian soon realizes that not only has he apparently changed, but he finds himself more willing to be open with the one person he allegedly never said a word to.

“I don’t want to hurt you,” Todoroki whispered, the ice spreading slowly, almost hesitantly.
The cold bit into Bakugou’s skin, sharp and stinging, but he didn’t flinch.

“Because I can only count on myself,” she whispered into the cool air, the charred logs in the fireplace the only indication the room had once been warm. Goosebumps rose across the exposed skin of her forearms and the Princess went to hug herself. “I am but… all that I have, you see.”
“You had me once, Your Highness.”
“That I did,” Zelda managed to say through shaky exhalation, “but no longer.”
