Summary
They've faced titans. Monsters. Dealt with the gods. Turns out the hardest thing Percy and Annabeth have ever had to do is stand across from each other — sword to sword — and pretend that's the only fight happening.
It's not. There's everything they haven't said. The prophecy hanging over their heads. The weeks of careful distance that have taken up more space than either of them knows what to do with.
A lego house — that's what they're building. Piece by piece. Snapped together and pulled apart and put back together again, because that's what you do when something matters. You don't leave it broken on the floor. You pick up the pieces. You start again.
It falls apart sometimes. That's the nature of it. That's the nature of them.
But Percy will always pick up the pieces. And Annabeth will always come back to build.

Summary
Annabeth Chase is efficient. Annabeth Chase is capable. Annabeth Chase does not panic, does not falter, does not ask for help she doesn't think she needs. She is, in every measurable sense, a structure.
Structures are impressive until they aren't. Until the pressure finds the one flaw, the one hairline crack, and reminds you that nothing built by hands — or gods — lasts forever.
But here is what structures cannot do: Hurt. Doubt. Grieve. Crawl back from the rubble of themselves.
Annabeth Chase can. Annabeth Chase has.

Summary
What does it mean to save the world, only to lose your own? Zeus calls it a decree. Percy calls it a cage. Bound to Olympus and stripped of the life he fought for, he is allowed only three fleeting escapes a year — three chances to breathe something real. The gods have everything from him.
Everything, except the quiet ache of knowing Annabeth is out there, living the life that should have been theirs.
***
An AU where saving the world earns Percy an eternity bound to Olympus — three days a year beyond its gates, and a curse so cruel it hollows him out completely: no one remembers him. Not the campers. Not his family. Not Annabeth. No one, except Grover.Bookmarked by serindeyilla

If Annabeth hadn't chosen Percy, he still would have gone. If Rachel hadn't been there, he still would have gone. With Annabeth.
Why? Because she's Annabeth.

Summary
"He was wrong, though," Percy said. His voice had shifted — quieter now, stripped of the joke. He was still looking at the fire, still turning the s'more with the same idle focus. "I wouldn't have stopped. No matter what." A pause. "Not until I found you."
The words settled over her like something warm.
Annabeth went still. She looked at him — this boy beside her, firelit and earnest, pretending to be very interested in toasted marshmallows — and felt something in her chest pull tight and then, slowly, release.
"I know," she said softly.
****
The empathy link has its advantages. Grover knows this. What he didn't account for is that Percy Jackson feels everything at full volume. Joy, grief, love — all of it cranked to a thousand, no exceptions.
There is exactly one person in this world who can turn it down. Five-foot-two. Brown doe eyes. Daughter of Athena.
Annabeth Chase.
