Ganondorf claims he has no desire to rule over ashes but he remains as enigmatic as ever, haunted by the ghost of a past he refuses to speak of. Hyrule needs a strong hand to guide it, to judge the sins it was built on and teach it to repent, and its true king has arrived, with his gentle queen by his side. Together, the unlikely pair must right the wrongs that came before them and try to create a better future.
And maybe along the way, they can find healing in each other.

“I’m sorry, Lindy who?!” Yelena blurted, her voice sharp with disbelief. The room went silent. Every head turned toward the stranger again, like the situation was too surreal for doing anything but stare. Lindy lifted her chin, meeting the weight of their stares without flinching.
“Reynolds,” she declared. “Lindy Reynolds.”
Yelena’s gaze snapped immediately to Bob. He looked frozen in place, wide-eyed, like a deer caught in headlights—jaw half-open, hands twitching at his sides. Her stomach sank. Oh, he better have a good explanation for this. Because this woman did not just stroll in here and claim to be his wife.

Summary
Bob had never really been much of an outdoorsy guy.
He liked a good couch, preferably one where the springs weren’t breaking through ancient layers of foam and fabric to dig into his back. Liked the rumble of an air conditioner, the twirl of a ceiling fan. Liked sitting against his attic window when it rained and watching the drops race each other down the pane. Being inside gave him little bits of control, even when his life was at its worst within those four walls. The most outdoorsy he had ever been would probably be when he was in less than stellar condition. Homeless, sleeping out of his car or on park benches after it got totaled, and then his stint of backpacking through Asia while bug-bitten to high heaven. There were no stickers on his water bottle in some flowing script that declared the mountains are calling and there probably never would be.
