    Summary

Julian Bashir can’t resist nibbling on Garak’s secret stash of Delavian chocolates, can’t wait to sink his teeth into a good argument about it, and relishes the opportunity to chew Garak out for picking DS9’s access conduits to hide those same chocolates. After all this terribly explicit Cardassian-style flirting, Garak is very interested to find out what ELSE Julian is willing to bite. (There’s a good chance it could be him.)

    Summary

Continuing on from the DS9 book Enigma Tales; bridging the time between their past and future. In the past, Elim Garak is an exile living on a cold space station and Julian Bashir is a Starfleet doctor with a few important secrets. They'd been circling each other amiably for a long time, never quite closing the gap. In the future, Garak is the Castellan of the Cardassian Union and Julian Bashir is a Federation hero, shell-shocked and unresponsive, recuperating in secret under Garak's protection.

Post-Meteor and the fall of Shinra Inc, civil society collapses. What follows isn't pretty. Reeve thinks he can do better. A story of how the WRO came into being.

for the prompt: "Something post-OG with Reeve, funding, good intentions, politics, and ideally whatever degree of friendship you believe he has with at least one of the AVALANCHE crew. Cait Sith optional; at least a little worldbuilding about the post-Meteor logistical and economic situation a must. Gen please."

Critique on this piece is very much welcome.

    Summary

“It’s okay that you miss him,” said Lan Wangji, a familiar litany to them both by now. “Do you feel sad?”

“I feel sad,” A-Yuan repeated, shoulders hitching with tiny hiccuping sniffs. “When is he coming back?”

“I don’t know. I am not sure where he is.”

But this seemed to frustrate A-Yuan. “Xian-gege! I miss him! Please, baba?” He looked up at him with wet cheeks and a wide, quivering frown. “Please baba can you ask him? I really miss him!” He sobbed again, heartbreakingly.

It stabbed straight through him, cracking open the reservoir of loss and helplessness that was all his own. His child’s grief did that, sometimes. It always took him by surprise. He caught his breath sharply and gathered A-Yuan into his arms, holding him tight until the pain ebbed.

“I will try,” he said softly into A-Yuan’s hair, when he could speak again. He never made uncertain promises and tried not even to raise uncertain hopes, but his son was hurting. His son believed he could make it better. He couldn’t not try.

Wen Qing might at least know who this “Xian-gege” was. He would text her in the morning. It would be a start.

    Summary

Wei Wuxian has become adept at ignoring the very fluttery feeling he gets in his chest whenever he thinks about Lan Zhan—but every cell in his body still snaps to attention when Nie Huaisang idly says, “Wow, Hanguang-jun is very handsome, huh?”

“What,” Wei Wuxian says. “No, I mean, yes obviously, no, what, haha?”
