Summary
So, when there's a knock at the house he's staying in, Daryl Dixon already has his backpack packed and slung over his shoulder when he answers the door. The pitying look and forced smile Deanna gives him does little to stop the stones of dread from settling uncomfortably at the bottom of his stomach. She opens her mouth to speak, and Daryl shakes his head with a grunt. If she says she's sorry, he might shoot her through the head with an arrow, or strangle her. Both are appealing, in all honesty.
Being sorry would mean not coming in the middle of the night, like a coward, to force him to leave.
( Deanna asks Daryl to leave, and he meets Paul Rovia along the way. )

Summary
Summer is just around the corner and, realistically, Steve Harrington should be excited.
No, not excited- thrilled, elated, whatever kind of big words English teachers ask you to use in your essays to describe excitement. There's no threat of evil Lovecraftian monsters, he's got no summer reading or high school drama to worry about.
( Well, he's graduated so surely you'd hope not). Just him and the question of how many girls he's going to date should be his only woes.
And yet...
“ Jesus Harrington, you look like crap.” Eddie and Robin are both staring at him as he grouchily clocks in for his shift, rubbing at one of his eyes in hopes to remove the very obvious sleep on his face.
Of course, Eddie does not state the obvious in sympathy, the man's tone elated with childlike joy at seeing King Harrington look like he crawled out of hell and back. Or at least, that's what Steve can assume. He sighs heavily, something he has done with every interaction for the last 24 hours.
24 hours.
That's how long it's been since Steve Harrington has last fallen completely asleep and he's at his wit's end.
