John moves back in.
There’s no dramatic talk, or plea — none of the sort. John simply begins leaving things at Sherlock’s flat, and they compile bit by bit until one day, he stops leaving.
It’s almost startling how easily they fall back into their normal routine. Their constant rows, the messes in the kitchen, the way they fly through the streets of London, adrenaline coursing through their veins like a drug — and oh, has John missed this.
