The setting was perfect for Ron’s plan. He was feeling excited and a little bit on edge for the weeks of careful planning. This was the D day (the “D” for “day-of-making-Draco-Malfoy-come-out-of-his-shell-and-snog-him-senseless” which was obviously too long, therefore, D day. Or night. That also worked). It sounded easier than it really was.
Ron was done with the careful and measured approach. He had been trying to approach the blonde innocently, treating him as if he were fine china that could break if he talked to him too straightforwardly. Ron knew better than that. Draco Malfoy was not a scaredy cat. He was a caged tiger. Powerful and mighty. And Ron wanted to own all of it. To unravel him. Untangle all of the ropes he had choked his true self with. And enjoy basking in all its sheer force once the waves come crashing.
But first, he would have to catch him.Or Ron chasing a scared Malfoy all over the place, even though they are both crazy for each other.
