Aemma Arryn, wife of Prince Viserys Targaryen, dies in childbirth mere months before Viserys’s father and heir to the throne, Prince Baelon, meets his own tragic fate. When Viserys is chosen as the next Prince of Dragonstone and too quickly becomes King of Westeros, he names his only child by Aemma, his daughter Rhaenyra, his heir. But in order to strengthen his line, he marries the Lady Alicent Hightower, daughter of his Hand, soon after his coronation. She quickly gives birth to a son, Aegon, but Viserys remains steadfast in his choice of heir. At Aegon’s second nameday celebration, Otto Hightower proposes a marriage to the King: Rhaenyra and Aegon. This proposal Viserys readily accepts.
Aegon Targaryen grows up married to his sister, both of them raised to one day rule the Seven Kingdoms together. As he gets older, he realizes the secrets she keeps from him, and the secrets he’s kept from himself. Namely: why has he always hated the idea of Aemond and Helaena’s betrothal?

It’s not the first time they’ve touched since the Gate; far from it, in fact. Al had used his shoulder as a crutch to make his first tentative steps into the world, and been scooped into Ed’s arms when his limbs finally gave out. They had barely gone a day inside the hospital without their hands clasped, Edward a constant presence at Al’s bedside and their fingers loosely curled around the other’s.
But this - this feels different. This is a touch bestowed not in the aftermath of a promise fulfilled or for the sole purpose of aiding his brother in his weakened form, but simply because Al wants it. Wants to touch Ed. To be touched by Ed.

Picking up roughly one month after Al got his human body back, his body is finally functioning normally again... which means his feelings regarding his older brother now have a physical component he doesn't know how to relieve. Who gives sex ed lessons to an empty suit of armour, after all?
Starting with Ed agreeing to show Al how to fix his problem, follow the Elric brothers as they gradually get more and more intimate with one another. Physical intimacy leads to more and more, and gradually, they start to wonder if their more romantic feelings for one another might just be mutual.
Al is 15, Ed is 16. They're living in an apartment in Central so Al has easy access to doctors while he recovers.
