“Romcoms on the couch?” Minho guesses.
Jisung rolls his eyes like that’s crazy. It’s not. Jisung loves romcoms.
“No. We’re going on a date!”
Minho finally stops and looks up from his task with questioning eyes.
Minho is gay and Jisung is not. More importantly, Minho is Jisung’s best friend. And vice versa. Jisung loves Minho. Just...not like that.
“Hear me out!” Jisung rushes to explain. “There’s all these deals and specials for couples on Valentine’s Day, right? Why couldn’t we be a couple? For the perks. Get some of the perks of dating? Who is going to make us kiss to prove it?”
“You’re serious?”
“Yes! And I already booked a few things so don’t say no, okay?”
“You know I’d do anything for you, Sung-ah.”

From closer, it’s clear that Minho is about his age. He’s handsome— very much so— in an untouchable sort of way. Straight nose, sharp eyes, a defined cupid’s bow. He looks sculpted rather than born. Jisung might shrink under the weight of his presence if the situation were different.
Knowing that Minho is dying ruins the illusion of perfection.

Summary
Минхо работает в книжном, прячется от проблем в полуразваленной беседке чужого двора и валит университетские вступительные. Снова. Стабильность нежит его в духоте одиночества, глушит эмоции и едва ли не сводит с ума. Может, поэтому, когда ему встречается Хан Джисон, до ужаса странный и потому интересный, Минхо подпускает его ближе положенного — и вмазывается в непредсказуемость, как подросток — в проблемы. Жаль, что никто не предупреждает о чувствах, что идут с ней в комплекте.
