James hesitates, his cheeks heating as his gaze drops to the stranger's lips before he can catch himself. "Well, I'd rather be buying you a drink somewhere."
"That could be arranged," The stranger says softly.
Or Remus drags James to a gig, and James flirts with a stranger in the smoking area, only to realise afterwards that it was the lead singer in the band. Lucky for him, a lot can happen in one night.

Regulus stops listing. “No?”
“Yes, it is,” James counters, reaching out for it, ignoring Regulus’ half-hearted protest that he’s mucking up his organising. The jumper unfolds as he holds it up against his chest. “I’d wondered where that had gone. Didn’t know you’d switched houses, Reg.”
