Harley Keener didn't get to know people either, just plain and simple. Tony Stark had been an accident and Peter Parker was an open book — beyond them, Harley was totally lost. (To be fair, growing up homeschooled in the middle of nowhere doesn't set you up well socially, not even if a billionaire swoops in after a while and moves you to New York City to finish high school.)
