The answer escapes Lena's lips surprisingly easily. "No, I would not."
Kara smiles, and it's like the sun is shining on that desolated hall. "I look forward to seeing you again, Princess." She says, taking Lena's hand and guiding it to her lips, kissing it. "Hopefully in times of peace." She bows and then turns around, leaving Lena speechless.
Kara had refused to bow to Thorul's king. But she had just bowed to her, the bastard Princess.
Maybe Lena is still a little bit in love with Kara, after all.
