Summary
“Okay. Look, I wasn’t totally bullshitting. I’m not really much of an actor. But that’s not…” He gritted his teeth, fingers curling into the leather of Tenna’s chair. “Tenna. You’re… at least three times my size.” Tenna tilted his head in confusion.
“I know?” he said.
“Yeah, but- Look, I read the script. And that fight… Do you, uh… really think that’s gonna be believable?” Tenna’s screen flickered.
“Oh!” he said suddenly, clapping his hands as the realization hit him. “I see!” Spamton let out a relieved sigh, his smile falling back into place.
“See what I mean? You’re gonna need someone closer to your weight class. I mean, obviously I could take ya’ in a more magical fight-” He definitely couldn’t but Tenna chose not to comment, “-but the way this one’s scripted, I don’t think it’s gonna work out.”OR: Tenna desperately wants to bring Spamton into one of his narrative episodes, but Spamton's not having it. Upon learning that his concern is with a fight-scene in the climax of the script, Tenna takes it upon himself to assuage his worries by teaching him the basics of stage combat. They both have more fun than they expected.

Summary
Spamton’s roots were growing out. It took a while for Tenna to notice, or maybe it just took a while to happen. His body was so different now, hard plastic where there had once been soft feathers, gaping, empty sockets that had once held sharp eyes. Static and unchanging. Wounds that would have once healed with time now had to be carefully repaired and his blood was no longer a familiar, humanizing red. He was a doll in more than just appearance. And, like a doll, his hair didn’t grow. Or at least, it hadn't.
OR: Tenna notices that Spamton's stopped dying his hair, despite how vital he knows it was to him. He tries to help without completely ruining whatever fragile truce they've managed to construct.
