Jongler prided themself on being reliable.
They liked being a sturdy shoulder to lean on, the voice of reason, and, most importantly, a helpful friend. Or employee really. Mike was all of these things, and usually Jongler enjoyed their job, regardless of how much work they may have had to put into it. And usually, they'd be proud of being better at picking up on when they themself were worked to the brink, probably since they were already used to the same antics from the others (especially a certain small green die).
But they find that at this point, run ragged and stretched thin by this year's busy holiday season at TV Time's Studio (tm), they really are too tired to notice, or to care really.
AKA Jongler (my absolute favourite motormike second only to pluey) gets a fever on Christmas Eve and their partners stay home to spend the night with them! okay whatever i SUCK at summaries

Tenna seemed taller than usual, and was shouting orders like it was his job (which, Spamton supposed, it usually was). Unfortunately, he was wearing the most hideous Christmas sweater Spamton had ever seen. It was green, red, and white, with little TVs sprinkled among snowflakes, reindeer, and santas. Christmas lights were woven into the wool in every colour imaginable, making it look like he was glowing. A scarf of golden tinsel was wrapped merrily around his neck, alongside a large santa hat that tightly hugged the four corners of his boxy head. Little holes had been cut into the hat to let his antennae curl cheerily through. Spamton suddenly realised that alongside his shouted orders, extremely loud Christmas music was blasting from Tenna’s own worn and crackling speakers, popping with feedback occasionally from the sheer volume of noise.
Christmas music. Christmas tree. Christmas tinsel and garlands… Oh. Oh no.
Still somewhat new to TV World, Spamton is unexpectedly thrust into the most exuberant of Christmas celebrations at the hands of Tenna. The only problem? He hates Christmas. Obviously, this won't do, so Tenna proposes a bet. A bet that he can make Spamton love Christmas again. What could go wrong?

She pressed her fingers along the edges of the deep blue card on the table. Her nails clicked softly against the lacquered surface, humming to herself as the glistening gold edgework pressed against her fingertips. In just the brief connection with the card, there was a feeling. Heavy and familiar. She knew what that meant.
She sighed as she placed the card back into the box with the rest of the deck. It was nearly three in the morning, and every muscle in her body ached from exhaustion. She knew the last thing she should be doing was a card reading. Especially one she knew was related to her own misfortune. It wasn’t worth thinking about, she knew that.
Overthinking. Oracle had a degree in it, if not formally, then certainly in practice. Maybe it came with the profession. She didn’t know and probably never would take the time to find out.

After his near-fatal encounter with the Roaring Knight, Tenna is desperately trying to look forward, not back. He is ready for a new lightner home and a fresh outlook on life. Only one thing is making him hesitate - a vivid memory of someone making the necessary repairs that saved his life. Someone who felt a lot like Spamton.
A shaky reunion in Castle Town brings Tenna and Spamton back to being partners once more - for now, at least. But Tenna is determined not to repeat the past. This time, he is going to get to the bottom of all of this phone nonsense, because they are NOT going to take Spamton away again. And, with Tenna at his side, Spamton will finally let go of what he thinks he should be, and learn how to build the life that he actually wants.

It was a dream.
