One, Friend does not live. To use the word “life” would insinuate birth; creation; nascence. It would imply emotion, or zeal, or purpose, or some sort of sentiment to base a “life” around, of which he has none. A concept does not need, nor want, nor yearn, nor crave; it simply is.

At first, becoming a ghost was great! Spamton was free from the strings of his deal, and he can finally get revenge on everyone who abandoned him. But as time went on, Spamton realized that what he really wanted was his life back. An opportunity comes in the form of a creepy puppet made by his old partner. This new body is far from ideal, but it's at least something. If only anyone believed it was actually him in the puppet…
AKA Spamton's benefactor turned Spamton into a ghost, and he can possess a puppet version of himself that Tenna made.

This as a fantastic read! The pre-sex bickering energy these two had was off the charts. Spamton’s internalized homophobia was also off the charts. That man is so deep in the closet he’s in Narnia.
Everything on the island OMG it was intense. If I had a nickel for every time a closeted bisexual was scared of admitting he’s gay but goes to a vacation island with some guy he loves and they role play about being able to be happy and together despite the reality that they can’t be crashing down on them I’d have 2 nickels but it’s weird that it’s happened twice. (The other one being that big Thanzag one I read)
