Spamton G. Spamton is just a normal spam program making ends meet by tricking darkners into buying his garbage. At least, that's what he tells a blue addison he accidentally draws the attention of, as well as their friends. But, something far worse is festering under the smiling puppet-like mask he wears, something that becomes harder to conceal the closer he gets to them.
Decades after Cyber City was ravaged by flesh-eating computer worms, few remember the infestation of 1997. After all, there was no point dwelling on it when the vile parasites had been fully eradicated. There was no chance that one had survived.

He reached forward and grabbed onto soft, wavy hair – behind his blindfold he pictured it as fluffy yellow fur – and lightly pulled, not too firm – just enough to signify that he never wanted to let go. He imagined gripping into Sunny’s mane, because he wanted to be close to him forever and ever and ever.

They're back together again, Tenna has a new show, and they're finally able to talk to one another without telling lies. They're happy together... but yet Spamton can't help but feel like he isn't good enough for Tenna anymore. After all, Tenna's a handsome and outgoing performer, and Spamton? Well he's just an ugly, broken little puppet
After an attempt at joining Tenna's new show goes horribly south, a fight ensues that leaves Spamton feeling like an absolute failure. He wishes he could be good for Tenna again. He wishes he could be an addison again, so that he wouldn't be a burden to Tenna anymore. And with the help of Blue, Pink, Yellow, and Orange, Spamton manages to find a way to turn himself back into an addison again...
But unsuspectingly, the magic he uses on himself apparently affects Tenna too...
