    Summary

Lance doesn’t let go just yet, Keith’s skin burning at every point of contact where Lance’s fingers touch his face, but after a moment he finally lowers his hand again, quiet. “I’m assuming someone told you, then.”
Keith stares at a random point on the floor, curling his other hand into a fist in his lap. “Yeah.”
Lance hums, not looking up from where he resumes wrapping Keith’s hand. “So you know that I’m actually—”
    “Yes.”
    “And that I can’t actually—”
“Yes,” Keith snaps, shoulders hiking up toward his ears as his face flushes. “I got it, I’m an idiot.”
A surprised laugh bubbles out of Lance’s mouth and he shakes his head. “Hey, you said it, not me.”

    Summary

There was no madness in the eyes looking out from behind lank white hair, close enough he could reach out and brush it behind the witcher's ear.

"Are you bound to defend and serve me?" Julian asked, tilting his head slightly.

"Yes," the wolf growled, low and rumbling and nearly inaudible.

    -----

Prince Julian of Kerack, when he came of age and was officially named his father's heir, was gifted four bound and controlled witchers by the king of Kaedwen: the last four wolves of Kaer Morhen. Julian would prefer to accept the gift and set them free, but is forbidden from doing that on pain of their deaths. So instead, all he can do is apologize and treat them decently.

This simple, compassionate act sets off a series of events that will irrevocably change his life, his witchers' lives, and the lives of everyone living in the Northern Kingdoms.

(Technically incomplete in that the current ending was not the planned endpoint, but does not have a cliffhanger and is functionally a complete story. Subscribe to be notified when the hiatus ends.)

    Summary

Keith is 18 and unlucky enough to be picked from the reaping bowl on the very last year that he's eligible to be in the Hunger Games. It makes watching people who volunteer for the "honor" of playing in the Games, like Lance McClain, climb to the top of his shit list.

    He'll kill him first.

    Summary

"What are you supposed to be?" he heard a voice far too high-pitched to belong to an adult behind him. Now he definitely had to be hallucinating, because there was no way. Geralt had never mentioned children were still residing in Kaer Morhen. The training of new witchers had ceased to function a long time ago and the keep served merely as a safe haven to all the wolf witchers that remained, that was it. And yet, when Jaskier turned around, there indeed was a child standing before him. A boy, couldn't have been more than ten years old with long dark brown hair and a wooden sword at ready and aimed at Jaskier as if it was the most trivial thing for him.

**Edit (19/4/2022): In case anyone's wondering, I'm not dead and this story is not abandoned. I'm just very busy with finishing up my studies and my thesis so there definitely won't be any updates before the end of April and I can't vouch for May either, sadly. But I promise I'll come back once I have the time and actual willpower to write this story again. Thanks so much for the support.
