Kokichi then hears padding of feet on the wooden floor coming from the next room, gradually getting louder as they approach. A loud “Hmph!” is heard from the said person before he walks in front of Kokichi and throws his body on top of him. Kokichi threads his fingers through the man’s raven hair on instinct, running his fingers down his head as he scrolled through his twitter timeline.
The man humphs again, grabbing the attention of Kokichi. “I saw what you tweeted about me,” Shuichi says, sitting up and hugging Kokichi, embracing himself in his boyfriend’s familiar scent. “Why’d you tag that Miu person?”

“Look at me,” Kokichi demands, nuzzling his cheek against Shuichi’s back. Shuichi peers around to look at Shuichi, sighing. Shuichi pulls away and runs his fingers through Kokichi’s hair. “Is this what you want?” Shuichi asks, earning a loud purr from Kokichi as he leaned into his hand.
“You’re so clingy…” Shuichi comments before turning the heat off the stove and pulling away from Kokichi’s grasp. Kokichi stands, frozen with his arms wrapped around nothing after Shuichi moves away from the Kitchen, pot in his hands. Kokichi huffs and follows Shuichi into the living room, angrily watching as Shuichi sets up the foldable low dining table.

Summary
In truth, Shuichi wasn’t too sure himself. It’s not like they haven’t had sex in front of other people before, but it wasn’t the usual case this time. Doing it in front of the lower-ranking members that respect and fear him for being Kokichi’s significant other is one thing, but being watched by people that nearly parallel Kokichi’s position is terrifying. They’re basically second in command mafia bosses, and if it weren’t for the fact that Shuichi has known Kokichi for over a decade, then he sure as hell would be afraid of Kokichi too.
But they’re still Kokichi’s subordinates, Shuichi reminds himself. Kokichi is their boss, and Shuichi is sure that if they did anything that he didn’t consent to Kokichi would absolutely lose his shit. So there really wasn’t anything to worry about, right? Shuichi takes in a deep breath as Kokichi grabs the knob of the admin longue room, only accessible by Kokichi and the other high-ranking members. That includes Shuichi, but he would never walk in on a whim
in short: Kokichi brings Shuichi to a party with his subordinates. Shuichi knows that he’s feared amongst the much lower ranking subordinates, but he finds the higher ranking admins intimidating.

Shuichi shuddered at the thought of having to retrieve such an item, even if it was for Kaede. “I knew you would say that,” Kaede uttered, biting her lip. “But trust me, this is the only way.”
Shuichi laughed sarcastically. “Only way!?” He scoffed. “I’m sure you can get another alchemist to send it to you. I’d rather travel to pick it up than go through an actual Orc.”
Kaede’s eyes widened at his response. “Going through an Orc to get it?” Kaede asked. “I was thinking more like asking politely instead of doing that, but maybe we’ll get better results if we do what you’re thinking!”
in short: Shuichi is an alchemist’s apprentice and is ordered to retrieve something from the forest’s orcs, but to do so he needs to get closer to them day by day. The plan is cut short when they figure out his plan ahead of time.
