IV grumbles and rolls over in the bunk, he hates these bunks. They’re cramped and small and the privacy curtains do jack shit at blocking out the very, very clear noises of III snoring like a jackhammer and Vessel somehow whistling notes in sleep.
The bus is dark, quiet, humming, and thrumming. But one noise makes IV’s heart quicken, as he rolls over and glances at the lower bunk, across the hall from him, where II is sleeping.
IV was almost jealous, II was the only person who could fit in the bunk, comfortably, and sleep in it. He’s so small that he curls up and can doze off for hours. Which, obviously, he deserves because he’s always so exhausted. IV has tried multiple times to slink into the bunk, but II always bats him away because he grumbles he won’t be able to sleep with IV there because he won’t stop touching him. Which, is true, but still. What does II expect? It’s not IV’s fault his boyfriend is the most beautiful fucking thing to ever grace the planet.
And luckily for IV, II is really, really into somnophilia. And IV is not one to deny him anything.
