    Summary

“You brought me here... to check I told the police the right stuff?”

    A pause.

“You didn't come to yell. Or hit me. Or even look at me.”

Baekjin didn't interrupt. The chosen silence hurt more than anything else could have.

They hadn't collided. They hadn't even met, really. It would be foolish to expect anything… and yet.

“You haven't fucking asked if I’m okay.”

    Or,

They never disagree on what they did— only on what it meant. In a system built on loyalty and hierarchy, Keum Seongje gradually comes to see Union leader Na Baekjin as an equal. Will Baekjin, however, step outside his sense of responsibility for what he protects and see Seongje as more than a substitute for childhood-friend Baku?

    Summary

Sieun is top of all his classes and never fails to make every step he takes mean something. Under the surface, he carries a deep weight of guilt.
Suho, on the contrary, wastes his life and college funds away and forces his body to the edge of destruction, not giving a crap where his feet take him. He has a couple of issues of his own.
So when these polar opposites stumble by each other at a coffee shop, something shifts in Sieun's life, and Suho is captivated. Sieun's life wasn't supposed to go like this. Suho doesn't mind the change.
