  Summary

All his life Dennis Whitaker had hoped for a family, a place to belong. He tried in Nebraska, he tried in Montana, he tried in Pittsburgh. But in the end, it all came down to one bitter truth:

Dennis Whitaker was destined to a life alone.

At least that was until the past suddenly comes crashing in.
