The wolf pushed his head past a particularly stubborn shrub, tearing his stare away to scan the clearing instead. A straggler, presumably a young juvenile by the looks of it, lumbered carelessly away from the midst of its herd. He licked his chops.
It had been a while since he had allowed himself the luxury of a full meal, only feeding upon rodents or the occasional fish in the last few half-moons.
Claws flexing, it took a tentative step forward-
"Shaaaadow Milk!"
Great.

The portal was right there. Shadow Milk was going to escape and other was no chance they would ever find them again. Not until the beasts unleashed their dark plans throughout the land of both Beast Yeast and Crispia
So Pure Vanilla makes a choice.
A choice he might yet regret, considering he's now put the master of lies right next to his ear. Perched atop his head

Summary
Pure Vanilla visits White Lily to talk about his growing feelings for Shadow Milk. She doesn't understand but if he was willing to stand up to all of them and give the Beast a chance to change then she supposes she has no other choice but to support him. Unfortunately for them, her faerie subjects get the wrong idea of why the two Ancients are meeting more frequently and decide to take matters into their own hands.
A potion to bring forth hidden affections given to the one cookie that has some form of love for every single person he's ever known means now White Lily has to try and keep an increasingly cuddly Pure Vanilla from embarrassing himself in front of everyone he crosses paths with. And when Shadow Milk shows up, she needs to keep him from making a mistake that may just drive the jester away for good.
Pure Vanilla is lucky she's always been good at figuring out spell craft... and with an extremely reluctant Shadow Milk's help, maybe they can break this lovestruck haze that her friend is trapped in.
