Summary
He shouldn't be here. He's putting Eiji's body in the line of fire, and each injury was going to be another day without OOO. Damn, why was everything so dependent on Eiji?
What if it wasn't?
Ankh stopped.
What if it wasn't?
Eiji was still here. His mind was still present even if he wasn't awake. His body would still be the conduit. Ankh, for all intents and purposes, was Eiji.
A hesitant glee bubbled up in his chest. Why couldn't he be OOO?
Eiji is mortally wounded in a fight. Fortunately for him, Ankh has brought a dying human back from the brink before. Unfortunately for him, Ankh's now wondering why he didn't possess Eiji to cut out the middleman in the first place.

Summary
“Why don’t you come hang out in my head again? Then at least we’d be able to talk during the day.”
Lalli didn’t grace that with a reaction. “I told you, I don’t know how that happened.”
“Then let’s figure it out! Then at least we’d be productive while stuck here by helping you learn a new mage thing. And you won’t get seasick in my head.”
He pursed his lips. That’s all Emil saw before the dream suddenly popped and dropped him in his house. Alone. He huffed. So much for making tomorrow different from every other day on this ship.

Summary
"C'mon, think about it: The android racist is stuck as an android for a while, I can threaten to fuck up his life, and you can just chill as me or whatever. Something to spice up the week!”
If Hank had proposed this idea a few months ago, Connor would’ve been against it. Ripping an individual from their corporeal form for petty revenge while toeing legal lines was not worth it when subjected to logic. However, if being deviant and occasionally human had taught him anything, it’s that emotions often don’t follow logic.
And Detective Gavin Reed was, in technical terms, a dick.

Summary
After Hyde decided to start poking around in Jekyll's mind, Mind Lanyon becomes curious about the real world and his own potential influence on Jekyll's actions. With all Jekyll's troubles between Hyde, Frankenstein, the lodgers, and the upcoming exhibition, he decides to offer own unique help to the matter. Help that Dr Jekyll willingly accepts.
And if that help is maybe a little unpleasant or even painful for Dr Jekyll?
Well, as the real Lanyon once said, "No one cares what you're like on the inside so long as you're a decent person on the outside."

What makes one a gentleman in Victorian London? One must be polite but not a pushover; charming but not desperate; witty but not a fool; considerate and respectable and most of all, composed.
After the stressful weeks he's had, Henry is not composed. All the stress is agonizing, and it would really be helpful if he could go numb to it to better focus on his work. And we all know Dr Jekyll is prone to experimenting on himself.
How to Be a Proper Gentleman features a well thought out story arc complete with an ensemble cast that comes together in the end and a humorous B-plot for levity. I read it in a single sitting, something I don't think I've done since college.

Ex-Aid translates very well to a ghost hunting scenario! It's fun to work out how all the pieces fit in to these new parameters, making things like the reasoning behind "why Hiiro?" make sense.

Wherein Danny is less 'half ghost' than he is 'awkwardly possessed'.

Bookmarker's Notes
Danny + Phantom is a first-person separate entity fic that follows Phantom as a curious scrap of energy that gets itself stuck in a drifting, dying human. Though it's just the beginning so far, it's a very good look at human life from the perspective of a benign ghost in for more than they thought possible.
