Summary
A shape-shifter named Tilene joins Thorin Oakenshield's company to help them reclaim Erebor. Her ability to change forms into the same species as the one she touches, may come in handy if the dwarves or their burglar wake the dragon. Having lived a secluded life, Tilene is taken with the beauty of the kings that she meets.
All seems well when the quest starts, but she learns that her past is complicating her friendship with the dwarves, and her feelings towards her enemies.
