Summary
Lena looks completely apathetic as she gets out of the vehicle, she’s still rather angry and upset that Lex’s psychotic meltdown had gotten her barred from her previous school. She’d actually found a couple people that didn’t seem to hold it against her that she was a Luthor – at least not until the lawsuits and settlements started rolling in.
Her mother has gotten out of the car and has raised herself to her full height as she looks around, nose scrunched up and her mouth in a disapproving pucker that reminds Lena of a cat’s butt. Lena almost chuckles at the thought as she quickly takes her satchel from Glen as well as the duffle bag, telling him gratefully, “Thank you for driving me, Glen.”
“Have a good term, Ms. Luthor,” he tells her, tipping his hat playful to get her to smile.
“Come along, Lena,” Lillian barks impatiently, just glaring at the few parents that give her disapproving, sideways glances. Lena just sighs again and follows after her.

Summary
Lena Luthor has returned to Metropolis and finds things just as bad as when she left three months before. Andrea is still angry about their break up and her brother -the most hated man everywhere- has his trial coming up in a few months. A trial she will have to give evidence at. Lena would like nothing more than to disappear until it’s all over. But then she accidentally gets the attention of Kara Danvers, and she decides maybe the next few months might not be so awful.
Kara is shocked when she sees the pianist in the video and even more so when she gets a reply. It’s no surprise to her when she quickly finds herself falling for more than just Lena’s musical talents. If only her friends and everyone else could see that Lena is nothing like her brother, and if only Lena could see she is more than just what her talent can offer the world.
