“Dream,” George says, eyes narrowing as he processes the way Dream is curled into the mound of blankets, “Are you— Are you nesting?”
Dream balks, face red with the tinge of fever, worsened only by the embarrassment of George seeing him like this, clothes and pillows strewn around him like a second skin.
“Are those—” George starts, “Are those my clothes in your nest?”
Dream goes into pre-heat, and all he wants is George.

“George,” Dream exhales, rushed and tense with stress. He sinks down in his seat, arms belted over his stomach as he hugs himself, quiet in the midst of the bustling airplane.
“I know,” George murmurs, aching, wishing that he could smooth the wrinkles from Dream’s face. If they were home, he would have already wound their bodies together and kissed the crown of Dream’s head, gentle and calm and private. “I know, baby.”
Dream has a rough day. George keeps him close.

“Sapnap,” George starts carefully.
“You can tell me to stop, if I’m pushing it or whatever,” Sapnap rushes, like he’s afraid he’s overstepping. “I just—I don’t know, dude. He’s literally curled up on your lap.”
Dream, feigning sleep, feels his skin prickle with warmth as George holds Dream’s head to his chest, fingers tangled in his hair when he answers for both of them. “And?”
Dream and George aren't dating. Sapnap has questions.
