Billy flinches and Steve notices. Then suddenly he knows which demons have Billy Hargrove sleeping in his car. Not the same as the ones that chase Steve in his nightmares.

Billy hasn’t ever seen Steve pissed before. Even at the Byers house, he’d been some sort of noble and not actually furious . But for a moment, his face cracks into something ugly. Something Billy has seen so many times.
