"No you summoned me. The dark lord doesn't get off his throne at the whims of vermin." The man says, taking his eyes off of Steve for the first time since he appeared to sneer at Bret. Then his eyes are right back on Steve and he is moving closer and Steve cannot do anything but kneel on the ground and bleed as he stares right back like he is in a trance. The demon kneels on one knee lowering himself to Steve hand reaching out and Steve stares at it looking for claws but all he finds is blunt well kept nails and then his cheek is being brushed, finger sliding down and curing around his chin gently tipping his face back up to meet the demon's eyes.
