Grian loving Scar was an undeniable fact of the world. Just like how the sun would set each night, the trees would rustle in the wind, and the ocean's waves would come crashing into the shoreline.
It was no wonder that lilacs and poppies had quickly become his favorite flowers after Scar had gifted them to him. They had nestled their way deep in his chest, making themselves quite at home in his heart. The beautiful flowers that would forever remind him of the beautiful man that had first given them to him.

The Bad Boys was a band formed by three teenagers—Grian, Jimmy, and Joel.
Together, they preached about music like it was a Gospel, inhaling every chord like oxygen, and believing that music was the sole reason for their being.
And like any parent would—they found it concerning and outrageous, like their kids were on drugs and they had to stop it.
Then—a solution.
Every summer, the three would pack their bags and leave for Brenham, Texas, to stay with Grian's distant relatives.
Joel being Joel, said that this was only a 'detour' to their life long dreams.
Yet, in that detour they found not just grass and open skies.
They found comfort in the most unfamiliar of places.
They found solace in a familiar soul.
