Originally, Lu Guang had the bottom bunk. Although Cheng Xiaoshi had conceded it (with minimal grace), it was difficult to say that the bed was well and truly Lu Guang’s. This is because Cheng Xiaoshi seized every possible opportunity to occupy the bed, with or without Lu Guang in it.

Dabi knew that everything in his life could be divided into two parts - before and after. Before, a time full of hopes of making a difference and dreams of being a hero. After, when both his body and soul were irreparably damaged, and he finally saw how things truly were. You think you know this story, that moment. A scarred child, head bowed before a shrine. But while that was the day Touya Todorki pressed his hands together and disavowed his family, his name, his past - while that was the day Touya died at his own shrine and Dabi was born - it was not that day which divided before and after. That day was the day something took root inside Todoroki Touya. That day, Todoroki Shoto was born. That day, Todoroki Enji stopped loving his eldest son. That day, the first roots of the orange lily that would define the rest of Touya’s, and Dabi’s, life anchored themselves in his lungs. That day, though he did not yet know it, Todoroki Touya developed Hanahaki disease.

With the way the world feels like it’s spinning before he’s even opened his eyes, this has to be his worst hangover yet. His ears are ringing a bit too, that’s a fun new symptom he didn’t know he could get. He tries to curl up to find a position that will make the throbbing in his skull stop when reality crashes back in on him. Building. Burning. Shoto. Fighting. Crack. Fucker… Fucker. Not alcohol, definitely concussion. He hopes that little shit got crushed to death.
