It all started with a flu, that had ended with a bruise. Those who have possession of these stones are extremely valuable. The government wants these stones, which means even though the holder is still or was human, all that doesn't matter, they are nothing but valuable items. It causes outbreaks of greed in cities, if they see what they assume is a stone holder, they all try and claim it was their found since there is a high price reward for those who find either a stone or those who hold it's power.
