When the clients begin to look at him with interest, he finds someone to curse him and take away his true appearance, and with it any chance of ever finding his family.

Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes, obviously already bored and annoyed by this conversation but that had never deterred Wei Ying before, so he continued to say, "if you were to search up the word perfection in the dictionary, all you would find is a gorgeous picture of Lan Zhan or maybe his nudes, because I’m dying to see those.”
He wasn’t even exaggerating, in fact, this was the furthest his speech had ever been from hyperbolic.
“Mhm.”
Wei Ying was not happy with this lack of response.
“Honestly, he could choke me to death and I’d thank him.”
“So would I,” Jiang Cheng groaned, shovelling another spoonful of ice cream into his mouth, “ugh, you’re so annoying and mushy when you’re in love.”
“I am not in love! I have a crush,” Wei Ying huffed.
(Or, Wei Ying and Lan Zhan meet in their second year of university, become friends and fall in love.)

Shota sneers at the teenager across from him. His defense raises like the hairs on the back of his neck as he glares steadily, ready and waiting for whatever will come from this encounter. He narrows his gaze when the teen shifts; just the thought of sharing this rooftop with Japan's most notorious villain makes his skin prickle. “Deku.”
“Y-yes!” the teenager cries out in relief, taking a small step towards Shota, “I’m Deku! I’m so g-glad you—”
“Deku,” Shota growls darkly, flicking out his capture weapon hastily to snag the villain before he can make his move. He's quick to tug it taut, leaving no room for Deku to escape. “You’re under arrest.”
“I-I’m what?! W-wait!”
tl;dr
Hero Course student Izuku comes to the realization that he is definitely not where he's supposed to be.
