Summary
What can a young man do? Angry, guilty, and afraid for his life, Gregorio Del Pilar surrenders himself to fire, until Former SP01 Eduardo Rusca saves him. He tries to find a new purpose, but nobody seems to be happy with that decision.
The thing is, Gregorio has killed a man, and is ready to kill more. He's going to continue Antonio Luna's legacy in his own way.

“Man, you are just… You know, I’ve heard stories,” said Sam, shaking his head minutely. “Sergeant James Barnes,” he continued, making his voice deep and deliberate, like he was announcing some kind of sports game. “I bet you caused quite a stir, back where you’re from.”
“I do well for myself,” said Bucky, a pleased flush on his cheeks.
“I’m sure you do.”
“And what about you?” he prompted. “Handsome guy like yourself. You probably hafta beat the ladies off with a stick.”
Sam’s smile didn’t fall, but it became a little smaller. He glanced at the shield propped up beside him; all red, white, and blue, stars and stripes. “I don’t really… I’ve got a lot going on,” he said.*
1943. Bucky Barnes has recently shipped out, when he suddenly finds himself transported to a future where his current best friend is gone, he is (somehow) still alive, and the handsome man who found him can't quite look at him without heartbreak in his eyes.
