    Summary

Cole decides some feelings are better buried, especially when Kai already seems halfway tangled in something unfinished with someone else. Letting go should have been simple.

Instead, every quiet moment, every mission, every near - loss only makes it worse, until love becomes something he keeps surviving rather than escaping.
