“The fame is a bit… distracting,” he says, and he omits, how the fame had been a crucifix he had been affixed to.
“Not a problem to Operation Strix, I hope?” Sylvia asks.
“No, not a problem,” he says, even though, it is.

Or, after recognizing the emotion as love, Twilight distances himself or tries to, that is until, Yor listens to bad advice and leans a bit into fame for the sake of, well, a normal, jealous husband.

Summary
It's been six years since Operation Strix ended and Loid Forger died in an unfortunate accident leaving his wife and child behind. Six years in which everyone has believed that Anya is living in complete denial. But Anya knows better than anyone that her papa isn't dead. He's out there somewhere and she is determined to find him, a fact she'll happily tell anyone who asks.
And the evening of a big political event in West Berlint is just the place to search. A celebration of unity between East and West, of the stability and peace in the wake of Donovan Desmond's downfall. Surely Twilight would be at a place like this! But are Anya's abilities enough to track him down? And what about the rising tensions in the air? And, hold on, wait, is that Sy-on boy too?

Summary
“Yor,” he said slowly, trying to quell the mounting sense of panic that was swirling in his gut. “Did Anya not tell you what type of auction this is?”
Yor peered at him curiously. “Type of auction? What do you mean?”
Off to the side, a group of well-dressed individuals were beginning to line up. A few of them squealed excitedly to each other, trying to peek at the audience from behind the curtains. Loid was queasy as he turned back to Yor.
“The final part of tonight’s charity event is going to be a date auction. That’s what you signed up for.”
Her gaze was wide and innocent as that of a deer. “What’s a date auction?”
After a comically unfortunate misunderstanding lands Yor in an precarious position, Loid must swoop in to save the day.
What follows is a series of infuriating, ulcer-inducing events that leads him to question everything he knows—including his own heart.

Summary
"What do you want to do?"
Now that (almost) all the secrets are out among the Forgers, a simple question reminds Twilight, yet again, that he lost himself to the past.
He has no idea what he likes. He's spent so much time molding himself into the image of what others want him to be that--despite all his recent progress--he still has no real idea who he is.
One solution comes to Yor's mind. How about spending time with other people, and seeing why they like what they do? There's no better way to understand yourself than try to understand others. Besides, she still isn't entirely sure how to appear normal--doing things typical people do might help with that.
(In which Yor and Loid go on "double dates" with just about every other ship in the series, more Forger family fluff, shenanigans, even action!-- and more things are discovered than *just* what Loid likes.)
Technically in a series, but this one is especially standalone: All you really need to know is that it's set post-Forger family reveals, pre-Strix conclusion, all else will be discussed. I just wanted excuses to write more of these two in love.
Spoilers, this is canon divergent post 120 but refs up thru 136.
