Summary
In the stall of the bathroom walls , Karina even if only in her mind curled her arms around herself like she was trying to hold that moment close.
Minjeong had wanted so little from life just peace joy and simplicity but the world had taken those things from her, piece by piece. Fame had turned her dreams into obligations, stolen her laughter, twisted her softness into something brittle and marketable.
And Jimin hadn’t stopped it , she couldn’t stop it.
But she remembered that promise.

So she bore the weight, every headlines and every camera flashes. Every silent choice that pulled her further from the only person who ever looked at her , seen her.

She thought about the way Jimin’s voice dropped when she was annoyed. The way she looked over the rim of her glasses. The way she moved, like the whole world was just another room she commanded, that she owned.
And something inside Minjeong shifted. She didn’t just want to get Jimin’s attention. She wanted to see what made Jimin twitch, she wanted to see just what it would take to make all that practiced steadiness come crashing down. She wanted to be the cause.
