The guide seems primarily directed towards mated couples…specifically mated alpha and omega couples. That’s fine, except, there are two problems—1) Jeongguk is his best friend, not his mate; and 2) They’re both alphas.

It’s the same old story each year, but like it is with any adult who has watched the Grinch steal Christmas every year since childhood, and feigns surprise when Cindy Lou Who warms his heart and makes him hyper aware of those finicky things called emotions, the same old story gets repetitive and tiring after a while. Soon, it becomes something you accept simply because it’s tradition, and switching things up after however many years would just feel like an act of deviance.
Taehyung has gotten used to his loneliness, and perhaps it’s too late for him to feel comfortable sharing his space with another.

A team. The last thing he and V would ever be. Two people who are constantly irritated with each other and getting into some type of disagreement do not make up a conventional team. Jeongguk almost laughs at the thought of it, although V doesn’t seem to be joking in the slightest.
“And you’re alright with that?” Jeongguk asks. “The prince and the thief who abducted him working together for mutual benefit.”
“Considering we won’t have to talk to each other ever again after this is all over, I’m surprised you’re making such a big deal over it.” V shrugs as if this whole thing isn’t a potential recipe for disaster.

Over the years, Taehyung has found that pretty comes in different forms. There’s the pretty that’s soft and docile, then there’s the pretty that kills. While Taehyung originally thought Jeongguk was the former, he’s coming to realize that he’s more like the latter.
For the first time ever, Taehyung feels like he can’t put his finger on one of his targets, and it bothers him as much as it attracts him.

Summary
A moment passes where Jeongguk contemplates what he should do or say. With how Taehyung is looking at him, like he’s the one laced with aphrodisiacs instead of Jeongguk, he wonders if this ongoing attraction hasn’t been as one-sided as he originally thought. It gives him too much courage.
If he regrets this later, then so be it, but he wants and wants and this won’t stop until he gets what he so badly desires.
Or, Jeongguk misplaces his glasses and accidentally consumes an aphrodisiac. Thankfully, Taehyung is eager and willing to lend a helping hand - and more.

They’ve always been opposites, they meet in the middle, cancel each other out, and Kaminari was sure he couldn’t do this without Shinsou. His friend has been there for everything. When his mom died, when Riku needed help with the baby, when missions went sideways. He was there, every time. Shinsou’s there again. Right when Kaminari needs him.
Kaminari never intended to fall in love, then again, he never intended to be a father either.
