Summary
Having had a Stand for as long as she'd remembered, Yoru had always garnered strange looks from her peers. One day, this very fact will lead her to an unforgettable journey to Egypt with old and new friends for reasons she had to fix with her own two hands.
Reasons being that Hyodo Yoru's mother was one of the people trying to kill her childhood friend-- so as next of kin with an ability for combat, she certainly had to do something about that, didn't she? She's done many odd things in her young life, but joining her estranged friend, Kujo Jotaro on his trip to kill a vampire in Egypt?
That was Bizarre.

Saddled with a power that seems only good for killing things in variably brutal ways yet lacks the strength to compete with the threats that actually matter in the grand scheme of things, a reincarnate that would like to think of herself as something other than an unrepentant sociopath struggles to find a place to peacefully settle down and wait out the apocalypse in this absurd world.
Except she apparently couldn't help impulsively acting at the first opportunity, getting herself a new little sister, a dangerous (fr?)enemy and a reputation that isn't exactly conducive to being left alone.

Summary
Prior to the discovery and consequent search for the Golden Arrows that showed how much everything was connected, Stand fights had been something that happened from time to time to Kujo Jotaro. More on the lines of unlucky encounters than an actual ‘every Stand user you meet is out to get you’ kind of thing. At worst, a big Inconvenience.
Also, an Inconvenience was all that being volunteered to chaperone on one of the university field trips was supposed to be. Honestly, Jotaro should have been clued in when the runaway girl they had sent back to Hong Kong made an appearance, but at that point Jotaro still thought that he would be able to live a life without DIO's influence in the world.
Basically, a tie in from P3 to P4, where Jotaro can’t catch a break even when not involved in official(TM) Stand business shenanigans.
