    And naturally, since I'm late and the universe notoriously hates tardiness while loving a good atonement, I run straight into trouble.
    'Trouble' being a hand sticking out of an archway.
    At least it isn't a severed one this time, I think before correcting myself. A severed hand would cause me less grief than one muffling my - very dignified - scream for help, as I'm forced backwards into a small and rather secluded courtyard, tucked into the deep inky shadows of it's own buildings.
