Summary
Regulus didn’t mean to. He swears he didn’t. In fact, he’d argue this isn’t even his fault. It’s James’ fault. He should have never shown up at the Astronomy Tower that night. He should have never looked at him with those beautiful brown eyes and begged Regulus to make him sleeping potions.
Regulus should have pushed harder for a reason. He should have fought harder to say no. But come on, who can say no to James Potter when he’s quite literally on his knees begging for something? Regulus sure can’t.
So when he accidentally switches up the sleeping potion with the amortentia he was brewing for class?

Regulus accidentally gives James amortentia. Chaos ensues.

He as well didn’t mean to defeat Grindelwald and become a war hero.
He additionally didn’t mean to catch the attention of the man he was planning to betray back in the 1970’s.
He really didn’t mean for any of this to happen.
