The phone was in Soobin’s big hands before Beomgyu could tell him not to and he was scanning the page urgently. His look of nervousness made way to an even bigger smile, beaming arrogantly. “5 things?”
“Shut up.”
“Okay,” He started. “So, you want to write a list of 5 things to spice up our sex life? That’s it?”

Soobin loves his store, he really does; at least that’s what he tells himself every morning when his alarm screams at 5am and he wakes up alone and exhausted.
He loves his store. His parents had built it from the ground up when they moved from Korea to Boston, his mother carrying him in her belly the whole way. But Soobin would be lying if he said the days haven't become monotonous.
There was one thing, though, that broke up the monotony of Soobin’s life and that one thing was Choi Beomgyu.

"There was never a time, not before all of this, when Soobin had really considered that he and Beomgyu could be together like this. He used to dream about it, though. Some of the time, admittedly, his mind would come up with something very graphic; other times, it was just a conversation. Soobin would imagine a reality where he felt just a little freer, just enough to give himself the chance to ask. A stupid proposition, maybe, but Soobin used to love thinking about it —about giving himself the chance to be reckless enough to try to be careful living a relationship that, he knew, could ruin everything."
