My imagining of Beryl's life, extrapolated from the very little canon information we have of her. A literary biopic.

Piper didn’t look convinced. “You said it yourself: You're a runner. That's the whole reason you're here, isn’t it?”
“So what if I am? Are you going to ask me to stay?”
