Summary

Sir Radzig forbids him to go back to Skalitz to bury his parents. So Henry, with a burning sense of betrayal in his chest and his father's sword in his hand, walks away from his lord. On his way to vengeance, he embraces a life of violence under the stern leadership of an outlaw called Jan Žižka. When they capture a young nobleman near a pond, it sets in motion events that will make Henry’s loyalties shake, and his heart remember there are things beyond revenge.

Summary
With food becoming scarce, Henry and Lord Radzig are running out of options to keep themselves fed after the assault on Skalitz. Bandaged and unable to take care of himself, Lord Radzig, a pureblood werewolf, is at the mercy of newly turned Henry to look after him. With options growing slimmer and each day bleaker, despite the warnings of greater dangers beyond the Skalitz woods, Henry must venture out in search of food.
One would think a pesky Vampyre Lord would be the greatest of Henry's issues.
