"Then, a few months back, James had apparently gone mad and decided to just risk and ruin it all with one small addition : right before leaving, as Will double checks his pockets for his phone, wallet and keys, James asks him if he wants to come with to Brighton. See Otto, spend the night, maybe even grab breakfast in one of the multiple cafes nearby the morning after. They both know what James means by the offer. He says it as light-hearted as he can, as if he only just got the idea. Half the time he does not even look his friend in the eye when he asks. Plausible deniability and what not. There are even times where Will looks about to say yes, fidgeting and lips twitching, but so far, he has only ever been turned down."
