Summary
Alternate POV for "Treasure Hunt" from the perspective of Harbor/217 ("Fire 1") and their crew. Mentions and brief appearances of the 118/dispatch/PD but largely original characters from the 217 (with Tommy!). Fire 1 is called to Malibu Creek Park for the rescue of a lost hiker and their team hears about the treasure hunt, getting just as excited as the rest of the city about the potential to find 5 million dollars. Hearing gossip from other stations, dispatch, and the police precinct, the 217 tries their hand at searching for the buried treasure. There are a few near meetings of Buck and Tommy but never quite.
Season 4, Episode 12 "Treasure Hunt" inspired; utilized a couple of characters from my own fic "United Front" because I liked them, do not need to know anything about that story to enjoy.
