Summary
Being chained to Ryuzaki wasn't the worst thing in the world. Of course, Light was annoyed by the arrangement, but what should he do? This was most likely going to prove he was not Kira and had nothing to hide, prove he was innocent and should be working with the Task Force to catch him rather than being investigated himself.
Well, saying he had nothing to hide was a lie. But it wasn't some… supernatural power to kill people with a name and a face. Rather, it was the pain in his ribs that was currently prodding at him, on their third day of chains clattering between them.

L knows he's going to die. The bells have been tolling for him for days now. Luckily, his prime-suspect and future murderer comes up to the roof to ask him an important question, one that might change the outcome of today.
Or; L uses his last day to ragebait Light and ends up making a plan to save Light from jail, saving himself from death and earning himself one late-night kiss in the rain.
