Summary
He dropped a few in his basket, turning around. His head was kept low, so he missed the person that was walking full speed in the opposite direction, bumping right into them.
Some of Toshiro’s stuff toppled out of his basket, an “oof!” coming from the stranger in front of him.
Apologizing immediately, Toshiro bent down to pick up his belongings, and his hand touched the strangers. He brought himself to look at their face, tilting his head. He was greeted with the brightest gold eyes he’d ever seen.
“Sorry about that,” the man’s smooth voice said shortly, nearly overlapping Toshiro’s own apology.
After a turbulent divorce, Toshiro moves to a new town with his child and tries to start anew with just the two of them. He enrolls them into the local soccer team and Laios Touden crashes into his life with no remorse.
Meanwhile, on a dating app, Toshiro develops an innocent friendship with a man that goes by the name of wingedlion, their online and real-life identities slowly blurring together without them realizing it.

Summary
Shiro coughs, once, twice, then heaves himself upright, swallowing (and subsequently choking on) a mouthful or three of pollen on the way up.
His eyes adjust rather fast despite the intense watering, and the sight he's met with makes Shiro want to strangle the stupid blonde all over again.
Laios is, of-fucking-course, smack dab in the centre of everything; pollen coats his armor, arm still outstretched towards the pile of pink that used to be the tentaclus. His golden eyes are wide, shocked, and Shiro honestly doesn't get how he's still standing, that close to the blast point.
"Uh," Laios says, voice thick and low. "Oops?"
Oh, how Shiro wishes he could kill him.

Toshiro and Laios don't find anything new out in the wild, but they do end up finding something in one another.

He had to smile. He had to be polite. His eyes scanned the crowd of moving bodies, some donning masks, Laios’ heart skipping a beat when he saw a dash of black, only to realize he was mistaken for another person.
“Excuse me,” he said curtly to one of his esteemed guests, entering the throng of the masquerade. He found himself weaving through heaps of people, then that very second, as if his prayers were answered—there he was.
Unable to stop thinking about the mysterious, masked stranger that won over his heart - a king searches hopelessly during one last ball, and the apple of his eye returns for one last dance.

Summary
Toshiro sat in his private chambers, looking at the outfit laid out on the floor. It has been some time since he put it on. He quit the habit when he came to the island, thinking that it was pretty childish to escape into this world of fantasy, where he was able to do all the stuff he wasn’t usually able or allowed to. He wanted to actually become this person – mysterious, intriguing, and ready to experience the world. But all of his attempts to be that were in vain, Toshiro just couldn’t come out of his shell and be who he wanted to be. He was jealous of people around him, of his party members, of his retainers. They could be themselves and fulfill their wishes, but Toshiro restrained himself, only focusing on the tasks that were given to him, bending to the whims of others…
It was time to put on a different mask, again.

Summary
Laios caught up to Toshiro, placing a hand on his shoulder. He instantly regretted that when Toshiro spun around and caught his wrist. Next thing Laios knew his feet were swept from beneath him and Toshiro was hovering over him, his arm bent in an incredibly painful angle above his head.
A split second later, the malice in Toshiro’s eyes disappeared.
“Oh,” he whispered. “It’s you.”
“Yeah,” Laios wheezed out. “Wow, you’re really strong. Ow, by the way.”
With a faint blush, Toshiro removed his hand from Laios’ arm, awkwardly sticking out his hand to help him up.
“Sorry…” Toshiro apologized, tucking a strand of hair behind his ear. “Force of habit.”
When Laios laid his eyes on Toshiro Nakamoto, it was like love at first sight.
When Toshiro laid his eyes on Laios, it was like he condemned himself for eternity.
These two, however, despite being polar opposites - find themselves pathetically attracted to each other and their friends are taken along the ride to see how this shitshow plays out.

Startled by his name being called, Toshiro turned around, meeting with Laios face-to-face again.
"Sorry it took me so long," he panted, catching his breath. "Did you wanna talk to me about something?"
Feeling put on the spot, Toshiro wanted to flee. Then he remembered, he needed to speak to Laios for a reason; a really good one. But he needed more time to gather his bearings about this.
Toshiro confronts Laios about a suspicion he's had for a few months.

“This is your fault,” Toshiro said breathlessly, keeping Laios’ hand on his face, “m-my body, it feels different...”
Intrigued, Laios moved closer. “How so?”
“Wherever you touch me, I feel like I'm burning up.”
Laios’ hand stopped at Toshiro’s neck, and the action was enough to make him gasp, incredibly sensitive to every touch, even the heat of his voice made him wet.
His hands were rough, yet delicate. Toshiro needed them all over him.
Laios and Toshiro fall right into a trap. A trap that seems to want them to relieve their frustrations on each other. Laios is willing, and Toshiro would rather be anywhere but here right at this very moment.
